Connect Google Search Console
An optional read-only connection that strengthens research from the first plan.
Connect during onboarding or in the Search section of Results. outwrite.ai works without this connection, but existing search data can make the starting plan more informed.
Before connecting
Make sure the Google account you use can access the website in Search Console. The property needs to match the business website. If Google has little or no data yet, the connection can work while the initial report remains sparse.
Connect your property
- Choose Connect Google.
- Sign into the Google account that has the right property access.
- Review the requested read-only access and complete consent.
- Return to outwrite.ai and select the matching property.
- Wait for the connection and import status to confirm.
During onboarding, continue after the successful connection. Available imported evidence can inform initial topic selection.
What is imported
The initial baseline covers 56 days. Ongoing sync normally runs daily. The platform keeps totals and detailed queries, pages, relationships, trends, devices, countries and appearances where available.
Private queries omitted by Google do not appear. Detailed rows are bounded and may not add up to the total.
How the connection helps
Search evidence can identify non-branded opportunities, pages already covering a need and areas worth further research. It is checked for audience fit rather than being turned directly into an article queue.
Troubleshooting
If a property is missing, check which Google account you authorized and its property permissions. If consent was interrupted, return to the connection flow. Read the specific error before repeatedly reconnecting.
Disconnecting removes saved search history and connection credentials from outwrite.ai. You can reconnect later.
Use your search data
Results shows clicks, impressions, click-through rate, average position, daily trends, queries, pages, query-to-page relationships, devices and search appearances where available. Selected-market performance is separate from the worldwide country breakdown.
Fresh non-branded queries can reveal useful buyer needs. Ranking pages and query/page relationships help identify existing coverage, mismatched pages and possible improvements. These are research leads: they still need audience fit and supporting evidence before becoming articles.
Read the imported period and sync status before drawing conclusions. Google omits some private queries and limits detailed rows, so those rows may not add up to site totals. Average position is aggregated, not a fixed rank for every searcher. Search Console doesn't measure all AI mentions or AI referral traffic.
Ask outwrite.ai can read this saved evidence. Try: “Which non-branded queries have impressions but few clicks, and which already have a relevant page?”
